The Greens at Cascade Apartment Homes

A week ago I wrote a review, but I’m coming back today to update it because my experience has completely changed for the better. Tracy was absolutely wonderful—she welcomed me in, showed me the apartment in detail, and highlighted all of the extra features and amenities available. She also walked me step by step through the entire application process, making everything simple and easy to understand. The energy was positive, professional, and very helpful throughout the whole visit. I left feeling confident, comfortable, and excited about the possibility of making this my new home.

I’m incredibly disappointed with The Greens at Cascade. Every time I visit, the pool is closed – not just during off-seasons, but year-round. Yet, residents continue to pay for its use. On the rare occasion the pool is open, residents can only access it once or twice during the summer, which is unacceptable for an amenity included in rent. To make matters worse, the tennis and play courts are also chained shut. Last summer, a resident kindly offered free tennis lessons for the community, but there were no nets on the courts. It’s frustrating that families are expected to pay for amenities they can’t access, while children have nowhere safe to play except in the streets, dodging cars as they exit and enter the complex. 5 stars for excellent scamming. There is a high probability that this is a scam. They are unable to protect the documents given to them by current tenants and future tenants. You are being asked to send your SSC, bank statements, etc via email to their "manager". The process seems legit at first but then they ask to send you a link for your information that DOES not work. Afterwards if you do not send your information via email they use that as the reason for denying the application. I took a screen recording of me using the link and it NOT working only for the manager to call me a liar. If you look beneath this post it further proves my point. Very nasty place to live. There is mold growing inside many of the apartments and instead of treating the problem, they paint over the mold. They will not let you out of your lease early because of the mold, they expect you to live with it. Please, please, do not move here.

Please read this if you are considering moving here. The only thing good about this apartment complex is the staff. Brittney is awesome and did everything to help us during our time living here. But I will say this was the worst place I have ever lived. The apartment itself was okay. But the complex was terrible. Dumpster is constantly overflowing everywhere. Pool has been unavailable all summer. All of the mailboxes are broken. And multiple AC units keep getting stolen. Also the people that live over here are just downright disrespectful. Blasting music, they don't pick up after their dog, leaving trash everywhere, etc. The list goes on and on. Corporate really needs to step it up with this place. I wish I was exaggerating but this place was a nightmare.
