7:00 a.m. drop appointment. Arrived at 6:45. Bay doors were open and there was a sign in sheet on the wall. Signed in etc. Did not speak to a person or see anyone for 50 minutes. Was told to go to doc 4. You better hope you don't get dock 4. Extremely tight with two telephone poles and a building about 25 ft in front of me. Finally went into the business office after ringing the buzzer on the door had no effect and they seem surprised and told me that they don't have appointments. That's when I said well on your TV monitor and your shipping area where I signed in there is a screen that says inbound appointments and I'm listed at 7:00 a.m. and it's also listed that way on my rate contract. I said I was concerned with my truck being halfway across the street into this 48-ft dock with a 53 f

I got the DREADED DOCK 4 and it wasn't horrible. Had to pull up twice. Setup is the key. There's a dirt lot across from them you CAN sleep in but they don't recommend due to the criminal element. I didn't but would. Camped out an hour south and came up at 0400. Chris (receiver) gets in around 6 and he's cool. Dock right away and they got in quick then stopped for some reason. I'll finish this when done. Update 2 hrs and 9 minutes to pull my 15 skids. They were shorthanded from the holiday time off folks.

Upon arrival I got nervous looking at a dock that had a trailer in it like pleaseeee don’t let me have to dock there 😩😩 but I didn’t have to 😏… Be careful coming from 77-Harvard-91st street because the 🛤 are unleveled… I was unloaded within 25 minutes. There’s a gravel lot where I was docked (in dock 7) across the street that I ASSUME can be used for overnight if needed 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️ but I didn’t need it.. Backing in the dock I was assigned wasn’t too bad although I held traffic up a little trying to back in from the street and to get out of the dock I had to lock in my differential because the wheels wouldn’t pull out the down graded dock.

Came in at 7:30 for a 9am appointment got a door. Loader says you can’t come early and there is a dirt lot to park

8am delivery appt. Arrived 0750, out 0910. 18 skids, 43k lbs. Docking is manageable, just watch for cross traffic as you are using an empty lot and the street to line up/back up. Receiving guy named Ronald is great 👍
