I’ve had a great experience living at The Gardens Apartment Homes. The community is clean, quiet, and well-maintained, which made it feel like home right away. The staff has always been professional, friendly, and responsive whenever I had questions or needed help. Maintenance requests were handled quickly, and the grounds stay looking nice year-round. The location is also very convenient—close to stores, restaurants, and everything I need, without feeling crowded or noisy. Overall, this has been a comfortable and stress-free place to live. I’d definitely recommend The Gardens Apartment Homes to anyone looking for a solid, well-run apartment community in Midland.

I HATE this place. Future residents, please do NOT — and I mean DO NOT — waste your money on these apartments. The Garden Apartments are infested with roaches. As soon as you walk in, you see them. Even during the tour. The tour guide might as well be a roach because that’s how many you’ll see walking through and living here. We’ve only been here for a year and it has been absolute hell. You have to clean every single day — EVERY DAY — just to try to keep them away. Management knows how bad the infestation is, but they won’t tell you. So if you have kids or pets, I HIGHLY recommend you do NOT move here. It does not matter how cheap it is. Please, please, please do not choose these apartments. Maintenance is terrible — and I mean half-done, lazy work. On the very first day we moved in,

Pros- neighbors are chill Maintenance responds fairly quickly Management is pretty chill Cons- roaches no matter how well you clean Erratic water pressure Way too expensive compared to amenities (1650+ for 2 bed 2 bath th) Cannot get premium wifi at these apartments (if you game/stream/work from home like me you can only get slow dial up internet) If you put in a maintenance request they will automatically enter your home if you dont answer the door Dog poop on your lawn from other tenants’ dogs No refunds in the event your apartment is roach infested (they just move you apts which surprise surprise , roaches is still waiting for you at the new one too 😂) All in all if you’re looking for a new apartment this would be my last pick . if you want the tea on this apartment continue reading this is an UPDATED 2025 review from staying here. & hopefully they don’t delete my review I wouldn’t recommend MY WORST ENEMY to stay here at these apartments they’re so FILTHY & disgusting & INFESTED they need to tear this whole complex down & rebuild it! there’s so many holes & cracks for roaches to get into! NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO OR HOW MUCH YOU CLEAN! they’re scattering around outside & everywhere in the apt even in daylight & roaches really only come out at night these are basically ran by the beetles , roaches & spiders! Great place to live overall. The staff is friendly, maintenance requests are handled quickly, and the property is kept clean. The court yard is nice and the lights at night make it feel nice to sit outside. Neighbors are friendly. I’ve had a good experience here so far.
