If I could give this complex, a zero star rating, I would this complex finds any excuse to add additional charges to your monthly rent, Along with that this community is not kid friendly. I have received several notifications that kids (pre teens) can’t play in the Streets But the park equipment that they have is $600 equipment fitted for a Single-family home backyard The only other grass kids can play in is a dog park. If you need somewhere to stay briefly while looking for permanent housing, this is the place for long-term highly recommend searching elsewhere. Note for rental company You should know what to expect when renting to families with children. This is not a senior living facility. You should not be harassing families for having kids that play outside in this generation we shoul
Maintenance was responsive and swift. Communication with front office was straightforward. Positive interactions with neighbors. Lots of families and dogs. Great proximity to walking trails and Veterans Park. While beautiful at first glance, the Enclave at Elmerton quickly revealed itself to be cheaply and shoddily built. Carpets were rough enough to tear holes through every pair of socks and every knee of every pair of pants. There was a gap between the countertops and the cabinets; the counters were easily lifted off the cabinets where they were not properly secured. Notes from contractors are visible on all walls--smiley faces, measurement numbers, etc. Paint job was patchy in every room and even painted over light switch covers and dripped on the backs of toilets. Sound travelled eas
Does not answer their phones. We have called multiple times, I even messaged on Facebook (Where they post actively) and got no response. Guess they don't need tenants to fill all their open units. I read reviews and had questions about some concerns that were brought up, such as being able to hear your neighbors through the walls, the smoke detector going off whenever you use the stove, and the master bathroom shower not having anything to prevent the water from getting all over the floor. Would have liked to at least hear from someone.
I love the location and walking options. My townhouse is nice and bright, roomy and clean. The deck is the perfect size, nice when the weather is nice to sit outside. Not happy with not having a linen closet there is hardly any room for towels and other bathroom supplies in the bathrooms under the sink. Also, very disappointed in the amount of squeaks in the floor, brand new place shouldn’t have any squeaks. Annoyed by the amount of times that the fire alarm goes off when cooking. Lastly, the amount of small children running around unsupervised by a parent blows my mind. Running in between cars, (even scratched my car door with a bike) leaving toys, and trash laying all around, unacceptable. I pay almost $2000 to live here, and this is very disappointing to me.
Enclave at Elmerton is a very nice community overall. However, there should be some considerations for people like myself, who were building a house and only needed to rent for six months. To have to pay a penalty fee of one months rent to break the lease prior to 12 months is a bit excessive. I think this process should be reconsidered, especially if you get to the six month mark, at that point, the person should be able to rent month-to-month. Many other complexes offer that option for folks that need a “short term solution.” Plus, we cleaned the entire apartment and literally just forgot to Windex the glass inside the oven and got charged $150 for somebody to clean the glass…. Again, extremely excessive. We left the place in the same condition we found it, yet no consideration, w
