This past weekend, my fiancée and I toured The Edison community and had a fantastic experience largely thanks to Elcie in the leasing office. From the moment we arrived she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. It’s clear she genuinely enjoys what she does and takes pride in helping prospective residents find the right fit. Although we ultimately decided this community isn’t the best match for us, we were very impressed with the overall tour and atmosphere. The apartments felt a bit dated, but the property itself appeared well maintained.

The Edison in Fort Myers is absolutely stunning! From the moment you drive in, you can tell this community was thoughtfully designed. The amenities are beautiful, especially the resort-style pool area that feels more like a luxury vacation than an apartment complex. The location is one of its biggest highlights—just minutes from I-75, tons of great restaurants, and every kind of shopping you could want nearby. Whether you’re grabbing dinner, running errands, or heading out for weekend fun, everything is right at your fingertips. The property is well-maintained, stylish, and peaceful—truly a wonderful place to call home. Highly recommend The Edison if you’re looking for upscale living in an unbeatable Fort Myers location!

I truly enjoy living at The Edison with my two young children. The apartments are beautiful and provide a wonderful living environment. I’ve been here for almost a year now, and when I first moved in, the staff was quite different—less pleasant and a bit concerning. However, within two months, the staff changed completely, and I couldn’t be happier with the new team. The new manager, Jenn, is incredibly attentive and genuinely cares about the community and residents. Elcie, the leasing agent, has become like family to me—she’s amazing and always responds quickly to emails or any concerns. The new leasing agents, Maria and Ashley, are a perfect fit and are also valuable assets to this community. Do yourself a favor and do not rent here. The issues at Edison Apartments are not isolated incidents. During my time living here, every neighbor I became friends with and multiple people I know on a professional level dealt with the same ongoing problems. The property went through several different property managers, and each one with the same work “ethic”. Serious issues were consistently ignored. I dealt with a roach infestation that was only taken care of after filing a complaint with the City’s code enforcement. Mold is common in many units, and multiple apartments have flooded due to poor construction, yet management refuses to take accountability. The amenities are severely neglected. Review Edison apartments Do yourself a favor and don’t live here! Over the duration of our lease, we had so many issues. At one point, our master bathroom tub cracked and was leaking water into our downstairs neighbors apartment. It took over a MONTH for them to come fix it. We called many times, sent emails, left voicemails, went to the office, and they showed no sense of urgency. Once they did come to fix it, they took the screen out of our bedroom window and never replaced it. We requested to meet with the manager to have our rent reduced due to not having our bathroom for over a month, and she was supposedly never available to meet with us.
