The Edison Apartments

I have lived here with my partner for over a year. We are good, quiet tenants and haven’t had any issues until now, only small things that weren’t worth leaving a bad review over. We have left many 5 star reviews and given compliments to staff in person to express our gratitude and recommend complex to others. Today I was very shocked and disappointed with the way the office managers handled a parking issue. For context, I am disabled and there is currently NO free parking inside of the complex. Each apartment is given one assigned parking space and you can pay extra monthly to rent another one, otherwise you have to park on the street. The parking rules are strict- if your license plate doesn’t match the plate on file for the assigned spot, you can be towed and guests are also not allowed

Someone parked in my spot. I went to the office to tell them about it, and they just told me to call HB towing. HB towing tells me to give them paperwork proving it's my spot. By the time I get off the phone, I come back to the office to a "we'll be right back!" As if they went on break just to not help me? Why is it so hard for them to just help my partner access our 1 parking spot THAT WE PAY FOR?? Edit: the one who brushed me off was the new assistant manager, who then came outside to tell me that the vendor was parked in my spot, and after I waited an hour outside for the person to MAYBE come back to move their car, I get told by the new assistant manager that that's "not possible" that I was waiting out there that long, then told me to just wait for the vendor to move their car, inste

My family and i have lived here for about 6 months and we love it! Any issue that we've had has always been taken care of immediately and every maintenance request that I've had Julian has always taken care of it expeditiously. I like it so much that I've actually referred other people to live here, so there's that.

Do not live here, trust me. Even though it’s “affordable” it will negatively impact your quality of life. The structure of the apartments is poorly made. If you’re downstairs you will hear everything from upstairs, not just regular apartment living noise. I mean you will literally hear your neighbor pee in the toilet. The pest issue is so bad, the complex has a horrible fly issue. Flies will swarm in the entryways and by your door. Every time I would leave flies would come into my unit. Even when I would be out of town, I would come back to dead bugs in my apartment, because they would come into through the window seals or under the door. Have lived here for almost 4 years and the current management is great! I had an issue with my closet door and maintenance was there within the week to replace it with a new one. We are very happy and hope to continue our lease for years to come.
