You will be paying a lot more than normal apartments for amenities that are closed half the time. Pool is always broken. Steam room works half of the hours that are posted it should be on. Air conditioning shuts off when it's 90 degrees outside. Between being an old building and the greedy owners , this place is not worth the money.

I recently moved in to Durham about two weeks ago. And I have to say I could not be happier. Spoke with the manager Megan and Simone several times either by email or over the phone for more than 2 months before I arrived to Minneapolis. They were more than helpful more than understanding. I had a situation where my move-in date had to be adjusted and that was not an issue. What is even more impressive is that when I finally met Simone on my move-in date she remembered I had two boys. The whole process of my move-in day was flawless. Any questions I had Simone answered. And if she didn’t know the answer, she got it for me I finally had the pleasure to meet Megan and right away she asked how my boys were and when they would joining me. I have overall had a positive experience in this apartment until the last month. I had moved out a month prior to my contract ending, however, the apartment charged us over $300 for utilities + fees. I get insurance and fees is covered, however, charging $180 for utilities for unoccupied unit is so far beyond my understanding. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not recommend.

I have had the pleasure of interacting with Kayesha Williams - The Assistant property manager here at the Durham apartment plenty times, and I can confidently say she is an outstanding assistant manager. Kayesha is respectful, responsible, and always maintained the apartment in great condition. She communicated clearly and promptly whenever needed, and her reliability made managing the property much smoother. She treated the space with care. Her professionalism and positive attitude stood out, and I would highly recommend Durham to anyone of my friends that wants to rent in this community. Thank you!
