The Crossings at Plainsboro Apartments

I lived here for three years before purchasing a house, and it was a great experience. The community has excellent facilities, including a gym, swimming pool, and tennis courts that I used often. There’s also a beautiful riverside trail nearby. Another huge plus is that it’s only a 6-minute drive to Lifetime Fitness, where I could easily spend an entire day. The largest Asian supermarket, the library, and several banks are all within walking distance (or just a quick 3-minute drive). It’s about 8 minutes to the train station, and there’s even a bus that goes directly to the shopping mall, movie theater and the station. Costco is only 15 minutes away. I have rented here since 2017 and have just moved to a different newly remodeled apartment in the same complex. The leasing office staff is always pleasant and any questions or issues are dealt with promptly and efficiently. Responses to maintenance concerns are surprisingly fast. In summary a pleasant place to reside.

The Crossings at Plainsboro is pretty below average for the price point. For a one-bedroom, the minimum you’ll pay is $1,995 plus a $250 amenity fee. After one year, they will raise your rent by about $100. If you stay past your lease, it’s an extra $400 per month. Management will tell you the rent increases are competitive for the area and that you save on utilities. The utilities were low for me, but I'm also one person, so it didn’t make much difference. They’ll claim your unit has been “recently updated,” but that usually just means new countertops. You’ll still have large gaps in the front door, so expect to keep the heat running in the winter. The Crossing is indeed a fantastic community. The location is great, the parking is spacious, the interior layout is well-designed, and the maintenance of various facilities is timely. We got a lot of help from Bryan and Zola, good people. We had a very pleasant two years here, and I have referred many friends and colleagues to move in as well. It is a little pricy but definitely worth it

This place hires predators. If you’re a woman or have children I’d highly suggest living somewhere else. When we addressed the complaint to the property manager that they hire predators and we’d like to get out of our lease she laughed and joked the only person that has gotten out of her lease died. And proceeded to joke they even charge people being deported losing everything. Mind you one of their maintenance men completely sexually harassed me while I was naked in my home. This man told me he had a right to be there while I was completely naked. I felt violated and scared. Couldn’t sleep knowing that man had a key to my home and left me with no choice but to move.
