The Crossing at Knollwood Apartments

Rented here several years ago. Company is out to scam people from their deposits. Be sure to attend your walkthrough... charged me for stupid things like "oh there's still toilet paper" and "one of three lightbulbs in the hallway fixture was burnt out, which you'd only notice if you remove the glass casing." Apparently cost many hundreds of dollars to remedy such oversights.

I lived here for two years and always felt safe. The maintenance people are really nice, and respond somewhat quickly, depending on the problem (I've never lived in an apartment where maintenance has responded *really* quickly, so I think that's just how maintenance services work). The management was really friendly and actually extremely helpful. They always got back to me in a timely manner, and were more than willing to work with me and my roommate throughout the move-in and move-out processes. The community is pretty quiet (mostly medical students), and parking was never an issue. The parking lot is pass-restricted, but there is a guest lot to utilize if you have people visiting.
