A home sold at a luxury price point should not have this many issues within the first two months. After 9 weeks in our new Epcon Builders home, we’ve experienced ongoing drywall cracks and nail pops in walls and ceilings, visible ceiling seams, separating caulk at trim and tile, and a quartz vanity pulling away from the wall. This level of deterioration so early reflects workmanship concerns, not typical settling. There are also infrastructure concerns. The community operates on private septic and well water, with reports of high water bills, septic odors, and no backup generator for the water system during power outages.
