The Courtyard @ The Corner

I lived here for two years. The new management ruined everything. When you move out, they will do EVERYTHING in their power to squeeze any extra money out of you. They will also give random third party workers keys to your apartment with no notice whatsoever. There are often fights in the parking lot. The communal laundry room washers are disgusting and make your clothes smell. Also there were times when almost all of them were out of service. We had frequent roach problems. The walls between apartments are VERY thin. You can hear conversations your next door neighbor are having. And if your neighbors are loud, fight a lot, have noisy dogs, or are up all night, it is a HUGE issue. You can hear snoring, tv playing, EVERYTHING. It is insane. This place has mold in the apartments! When you report it the apartment manager just has the maintenance man patch over the mold instead of removing it.

I lived here for a year. ROACHES. BED BUGS. MICE. SPIDERS. YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR YOUR OWN LAUNDRY!!!! I pay rent why should I pay for communal laundry too??? And I heard gun shots at night! The first property manager Tracy was good but he didn’t fix what we were told would be fixed. The bathtub was peeling everywhere from a poor paint job, told we would get a new one within a month of move in. Didn’t happen. The kitchen sink was loose. Told we would get a new one. Didn’t happen. Then we got a new property manager. No one told us about it! Just some random guy shows up and it’s like who are you??? A notice would be nice. We moved into our apartment a week ago and so far it has been great! Mike has been super great and helpful during the entire process. We had a few maintenance things typical of a "new" apartment and they were addressed early the next day in a very professional manner. The apartment is clean, spacious, and provides a lot of storage. We anticipate a great relationship with the people at College Corner!

I came from a different state and did not really get to visit the apartment before I had a lease. However, I am completely satisfied to have one of the apartments at college corner. The apartment is great, clean, affordable, quiet and most importantly ,its close to campus like 5 -10 minutes walk which is really helpful for students who don't drive. The staffs are amazing. Ms. Jolynn is very helpful and she really cares about the residents here. I highly recommend college corner apartments.
