The Commodore Apartments

It's a dirty building. Every floor smells weed, although it is prohibited to smoke in the building. The heating pipes make a knocking noise all the time. The knocking noise won't let you sleep because it's too loud. The landlord doesn't care to clean or even do the maintenance. The landloard doesn't do his responsibilities. Most of the tenants are loud and noisy. They open loud music with big speakers and bother other tenants. You may not take a good sleep in this building. Emergency phone contact service of the building doesn't answer to the phones, the voice mail box is always full so you can't leave a voice mail.

Don't live here! Terrible place to live. Building is always dirty, poor security the front door was broken for over a week before it was fixed. Cameras are all over the place but they don't work and the new owners don't care to fix it at all. Easy access for packages so yes they will get stolen. Forget about getting any laundry done, washing machines don't work no matter how many times you follow the directions or use your card properly, oh and its near impossible to reload your laundry card. ON TOP of all that, management is horrible! The building was recently purchased and new management sucks, they provide no help and don't care to. Whatever you do, DONT LIVE HERE it's not worth it.

I am proud to be a resident at the Commodore Apartments it is one of the best buildings in Albany the doors are always lock the building is always kept clean and nice & plenty of heat during the winter & when I had an issue with my apartment they took care of it right away also followed days later to make sure everything was okay they are very supportive and considerate for they tenants i feel comfortable and safe and proud to make & called this my home never have trouble with parking also near a great location with with a couple of great restaurants & a nice park as well the Commodore Apartments is a great place to stay

New management all the time. Nothing ever gets fixed ever so don’t even try calling. Building is infested with all type of bugs and mice. And the people that live there are disgusting and leave their garbage everywhere. The building smells too.

I like the apartment. It's beautiful nice and clean. The management is alright. Only problem I have is the walls are two things and you can hear everything
