The Colton Apartments

The Colton has been a good place to live for me since moving to Idaho. Th first set of management were not very organized however the new management seems to care more about the people and how to correct previous managements mistakes. The Colton is in a good location with convenience store and other businesses near by and shopping centers not far down the road. Communication has been good and may maintence has been thoroughly done and quick! I would say it could use a kid friendly structure for playing. Pet friendly. Neighbors are quiet and keep to them selves for the most part. I recommend the Colton

AVOID THE COLTON PROPERTY MANAGEMENT AT ALL COSTS! They're unresponsive, disorganized, and take advantage of tenants. Issues with pest control, surprise fees, and lack of notice for rent increases. And to add insult to injury, they'll post bills late and still charge you late fees genius! Unprofessional and frustrating. To make matters worse, they've had 6-7 different property managers since I moved in October 2024, which just adds to the chaos. Don't waste your time trying to get help - they don't seem to care! Tenants deserve better! Also texted them about a fee I didn’t know u had and wanted to know why it showed up after rent was paid which I paid on the first and then only got a notification 10/7 about the fee then 10/8 a 100$ late fee was charged 💀

We lived at this property for 15 months and during that time the units themselves were fine, and the location is quiet and convenient. However, once the community transitioned to new management, things went downhill fast. When our 12-month lease ended, we intended to renew. Months later, when we needed to move closer to Boise because of our long commutes, we reached out repeatedly to discuss early move-out options. Nobody ever answered. We went to the clubhouse multiple times and the office was empty. Even maintenance staff admitted the community manager was never around.
