First of all let me say the actual day of signing went well and the lawyer David, who assisted me, was very nice, professional and helpful HOWEVER my dealings with this company prior to that was unfavorable! This was a very stressful and emotional sale if my parents house shortly after the passing of my mom... Pam Potenza made this transition harder than it needed to be with a condescending tone and attitude throughout the process! I was very specific with my preference for communication via text do to long work hours at a job where checking email becomes almost impossible yet she felt the need to make comments like “well if you check your email”. On the day of closing I was asked to sign an additional document via doc sign and I called to ask questions about the document and she replied

We used the Closing the Agent in Winter Park for a sale and purchase (2 properties) simultaneously this month, the experience was horrid. Incompetent is how I would describe the Winter Park office. There are MANY companies to choose from in Orlando and all charge roughly the same price, please choose another company because if you don’t, you will pay to do THEIR job for them.

Do not use this company. Closing was a nightmare. Debbie was our closing agent and the papers were not in order. She also did not schedule the notary on time and closing had to be delayed. The next day she took 7 hours to respond to our lawyee and once again delayed wire cut off time. These people are a waste of money
