The CitiZen at Virgil Village

This place is disgusting! People let their dogs pee & poop in the hallways (hence all the stains on the carpet) and staircases. The smell lingers throughout the building and it’s truly nasty. The pool hasn’t been cleaned since I moved in and is now closed down. The coffee station is practically abandoned. I moved here expecting to use these amenities, but it’s all been a complete letdown… Also, they got roaches.

It’s interesting to see how people who have negative reviews of this building have left the same type of comments and reviews in other places that they’ve visited. I would be wary of reviews posted by people leaving recycled negative reviews. I’ve had nothing but a pleasurable experience living at the CitiZen. Whenever I’ve had maintenance requests, or needed to know about things going on in the building, I’ve always been able to find information quickly and get what I needed done quick in an efficient manner. There have been incidents in this building that could happen to any building in this area, but staff is always on top of making sure things are taken care of quickly. Great work as always by Devon & Kathryn, great maintenance and building manager. Specifically them both, this building has had others who were far less responsive. Keep Devon & Kathryn around and give em a raise.

I've loved living here! Everything was clean and maintenance was always fast to handle any issue. Kathryn is transparent and knowledgeable about the property and neighborhood. She is quick to respond and resolve. It was easy as it should be!

I’ve had a positive experience living at the citizen! I love my apartment and Kathryn Eaddy, the property manager, is responsive and genuinely cares about residents. Anytime I’ve needed something, whether it was maintenance or just a quick question, she’s followed up in a timely fashion and made sure it got handled. I’ve lived in buildings where you cannot get management or maintenance to respond for months. I love my apartment and how the building is turning around, maintenance is good, and it’s clear management puts effort into making the space feel welcoming. Overall, I’ve had a positive experience so far living at the citizen and Kathryn, the maintenance team, and Optimus are a big reason why!
