THE CABOT GROUP

As soon as the Cabot group took over they started updating their townhomes, which is fine but I just resigned my lease which is obviously more expensive than last year's lease and now I'm living in a reno/construction zone I didn't agree to. My landlord gave me a heads up that they were going to replace my windows. Okay, fine! Well, they replaced the downstairs windows then went to replace the next townhouse over without finishing our windows while they specifically said they were coming the next morning at 8am to finish the upstairs windows so my husband and I moved everything in our bedroom away from the windows just for them to not show up. 4 days later they showed up and finished without putting my blinds or curtains back up. 0 stars. Eagle Ridge Circle was so nice when I moved here 10 years ago. Peaceful and a great place to live. When Cabot took over, it started going downhill. Heather Huff, property manager, is so rude. She has hung up on some of my neighbors! She bought a golf cart to ride around on. This isn't Florida where it can be used all year. That money could have been used for painting the bldg trim which looks terrible and rotted. Those that live here get nothing for our rent. She has given me 3 non renewal letters. No personal contact. She will ignore you when she drives by. My gutters are always full but they only clean them once a year. I have ice right outside my door because gutters can't drain. One neighbor had a broken air conditioner but they wouldn't replace it. Front doors on some units

I currently live at one of the properties and the property director JENNIFER MERCADO is very disrespectful and when you call her out, she says you’re being disrespectful. Very passive aggressive and every time I try to resolve the situation she dismisses me as well as gaslights me. Very unprofessional and unacceptable. Listening skills a 0. Threatened me and said for this to be friendly, I need to conduct myself in a certain way. We were told that our maintenance service requests will be Tuesday’s and was given a 4 day notice. Awful company. Would never rent from this group ever again. Property needs tons of work and never gets attention. Way over priced for what you get. Look elsewhere.

We rented an apartment at the Linc which they run. They are running what could be a great building and living experience into the ground. Cabot Group is one of those businesses that holds back the success of downtown. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
