I really like this apartment complex. The staff and facilities team are very responsive, whether by phone or email, I’ve never waited more than a few hours for a response. Maintenance services are efficient, neat, and completed quickly, and the management team has been helpful throughout my stay. I have not experienced any platform or application issues mentioned in other reviews: payments, apps, and communication systems have all worked smoothly. When there are closed hours or scheduled maintenance, announcements are sent out in a timely manner. Parking is first-come, first-served, but I haven’t had any issues with guest parking, especially for reasonable-length visits. Availability can vary depending on where your apartment is located within the complex, so I recommend considering this
Loved our 2 years of living here. Tucked away by the quiet woods, nearby a wonderful park, great area for commuting. Friendly staff and lovely pool. We will miss the Brixton!!
I’m paying $2,100 a month for a 600 sq ft apartment in Ashburn, VA and it is extremely overpriced for what you get. The apartment is very old and outdated, so much dust collects everywhere everyday and things are constantly breaking. I have to call maintenance almost every other month because something is wrong. For example, my shower rod comes loose regularly and needs to be tightened every other month. See the pictures below. My dishwasher has also flooded multiple times. Again, see the pictures below. This is not acceptable for the amount of rent they charge. On top of all of that, they raise the rent by about $300 every time your lease is up, with no upgrades or improvements made. I've only here 11 months, but in that short time, I've already had to deal with a fly infestation that I had to pay to get rid of myself, dangerous car crash and a 10 percent increase on rent. For the flies, they mentioned it was flies coming from the chimney. I would come home from work to so many flies in my apartment and have to kill them all myself. When I called for help, they sent someone out who basically told me to keep doing what I was doing and spraying the flies (see their note attached)… no help whatsoever. I had to throw out so many of my things because it go to the point where the flies were having babies in my floor boards and underneath my rug, etc. Just last night (7/31), there was a car accident right inside our complex—several cars, even trees got hit! I’m shocked to know this apartment still exists, a worst company to rent with. I have had problems from touring to application process to staying here or moving out. Let’s start with touring - the touring agent doesn’t know anything besides selling this apartment to you, by giving you high hopes, also by asking you apply within 24/48 hours. They will waive the application fee, that’s absolutely false. Application process is pretty complicated from income verification to identity verification, it keeps logging you off always. Leasing office never responds after you tour. Let’s talk about moving to your new home - at first I was told this is the same apartment I’ll be staying at but later they asked me to move to another one.
