The Brighton Garden Oaks

I recently toured Brighton Garden Oaks and had such a great experience. The property itself is beautiful — clean, modern, and very well maintained. The amenities and overall atmosphere really stood out to me. What made the visit even better was Melecia. She was incredibly welcoming, and genuinely took her time showing me around. She answered all my questions and made the entire tour feel comfortable and pressure-free. Definitely one of the best touring experiences I’ve had!

I would not recommend living at Brighton Garden Oaks. The hallways constantly smell like weed and the building quality is terrible. You can hear absolutely everything your neighbors do. Walking, talking, music, even very private things I’d prefer not to hear. The walls and floors feel extremely thin. Packages get stolen here pretty often and since the ownership change it feels like there’s basically no security. Cars have been broken into and some have even had their wheels stolen and were left sitting on cinder blocks. Management is very unresponsive. Emails go unanswered, calls don’t get returned, and complaints rarely get addressed. Maintenance is also slow. Things like the gate take a long time to get fixed. I’ve really enjoyed living at Brighton Garden Oaks. The property is well kept, the neighborhood is quiet, and the location is super convenient for getting around Houston. I also want to mention Melecia in the leasing office. She’s been genuinely helpful every time I’ve interacted with her and always goes the extra mile to make sure things get handled. It’s nice dealing with someone who’s responsive, professional, and actually cares about the residents. Overall, it’s been a solid experience and I’m glad I chose to live here.

I’ve lived at Brighton Garden Oaks for the past year and a half, and I have to say that Gabby has been one of the biggest reasons my experience here has been so great. From day one, she has been incredibly helpful, always approachable, and consistently willing to go the extra mile. Anytime I’ve needed something whether it was a question, a maintenance concern, or just general support Gabby has handled it quickly, professionally, and with genuine kindness. She never makes you feel like you’re an inconvenience. Instead, she goes above and beyond to make sure residents feel heard and taken care of. I been living here since they open the apartment complex and I had no complaints when it was Modera but now with the new ownership its like you can visibly see it going down the drain. Part of moving here was having security at the complex but now it seems like they are trying to save a buck and removed security which in turn caused the residents here to get their vehicles broken into or their wheels stolen off their car. It's safe to say that when my lease comes up for renewal we won't be staying here anymore, thats too bad because me and the wife loved it here. Step it up Brighton and quit being cheap as residents you charge us more than enough to at least have added security at night.
