The Bernice Apartments

Lived here when they newly opened and loved every second. The staff is super friendly and responsive when anything is needed. The culture of the building is very community based with plenty of events happening regularly. They have lots of amenities with areas for you to host guests as well. There’s also amenities for your dogs with a dog wash and small dog area for them to play. If you love being downtown but want to be away from the hustle and bustle. This is the perfect place for you. It’s close to all your favorite places and conveniently located close to both major freeways. Overall amazing experience here and one of the best views of the beam if you can catch it!

I’ve only been here a short time, but I genuinely love living at The Bernice. Moving is stressful, and the team made the whole process feel easy and welcoming. Donna and Juana are especially wonderful. They are friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. You can tell they truly care about the residents. The building is clean and beautifully maintained, and the atmosphere feels calm and respectful. The gym is great, the dog run is such a bonus, and there are plenty of community spaces that make it feel more like a home than just an apartment building. Even the other tenants I’ve met have been kind and welcoming. I’m really happy I chose this place. 😊

First, I want to thank Donna for everything. She has consistently been the most helpful, respectful, and reliable person on this property. Now for the real experience. I moved in on September 26th, and my first interaction with Janna was being told—incorrectly—that I could not park in my assigned spot and that my car would be towed. I had a signed agreement stating otherwise. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, she raised her voice at me on Day 1 as a new resident. Throughout my stay, I continued to have negative interactions with her over very simple requests, like replacing air filters or ensuring that late-night events in the Den ended at a reasonable hour. The most concerning incident happened around the New Year during a routine smoke detector and filter inspection. I c

I loved our stay in The Bernice. It has been our first home moving to CA. We stumbled upon their website last year while hunting for an apartment. When we toured the place, we never really looked for another one. They have great amenities and the units are new. Donna is wonderful and always helped us whenever we have questions or concerns. Juana and Matthew are also great. The amenities are great and the tenants are also nice and friendly. Its vicinity is well-lit and we felt safe during our stay. Unfortunately, we had to move closer to where I work and I was bummed when we moved out.

When I first stepped in Bernice Apartments I was delivering an order and got through smoothly I found the environment very pleasant and asked the manager Mrs Juana Santana questions about the availability she was so friendly and very helpful. Another day I stopped in around a busy time and I thought she to care of every individual very well with concern great customer service and generosity. I knew right there I wanted her to be my future apartment manager. Things are beautiful here.
