Customer Reviews
If you’re considering moving into Belhaven Apartments, think twice. For the price they charge—over $2,700 for a one‑bedroom—you’d expect basic things to work, but that’s rarely the case. The security gate is almost always broken, which makes the whole “gated community” claim feel like a joke. The pool is consistently dirty, the outdoor grills stay broken, and the hallways either smell like weed or straight-up trash. If you have a dog, prepare for headaches. My puppy keeps getting sick because people never pick up after their pets and management doesn’t bother to enforce anything or clean the grounds properly. Packages in the mailroom are left scattered all over the floor, the coffee machine never works, and when it snows, the 6th‑floor parking garage is never cleared—leaving anyone who pa
🚨 Belhaven “Luxury” Apartments A Beautiful Scam READ BEFORE YOU SIGN 🚨 I usually mind my business and don’t write public complaints, but The Belhaven has pushed me to the point where I had to pause my busy, peaceful life to warn the public like I’m a town crier in a horror movie. So, hello , I’m here now. Let’s start with this: DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE RATINGS. Yes, she photographs well. Yes, the tour gives luxury vibes. But honey, that’s where the dream ends. Once you move in, it’s a Jet 2 Holiday FULL PRICE! When I first moved in, I liked the leasing agents, Derrick and Nicki. I didn’t expect miracles, but they at least made me feel heard. They left, and so did the last shred of customer service. The new leasing team? Since their departure, the current staff has been completely dismi
2.5-Year Review Update – BelHaven Apartments After living here for about 2.5 years, I can say the apartment has met the expectations we had for apartment living in a densely populated area near Washington, D.C. We chose this location primarily for the commute, which has been a major plus for both my wife and me. Overall, the experience has stayed within a normal and comfortable range. Positives • Maintenance continues to be responsive and respectful of visitation preferences. All requests to date have been fully addressed and resolved. • The apartments still feel modern, with minimal wear and tear or major breakdowns. • Hallways are kept as clean as possible. • Common and public areas are consistently clean and presentable. • While staff has changed several times since opening (we were a
Dear Belhaven Apartments Team, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the wonderful support we received during what started out as a very stressful situation. My family and I had traveled from New York to help our daughter move, only to find that the apartment we originally arranged with another complex was not ready. By chance, we visited Belhaven Apartments, and that is when we met Evangela Wright. She immediately noticed our disappointment and kindly offered us a tour. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine care turned a difficult moment into a blessing. Thanks to her help, our daughter was able to find a beautiful apartment that is safe, clean, conveniently located, and truly feels “just right.” We are so grateful for the kindness and support we received, especially at the las
We arrived 5 minutes late and were denied a tour. Instead, she wasted 30 minutes giving us a manual tutorial on a printed piece of paper. Rescheduling would’ve saved us time. The micro-aggressive gaslighting was the real irritant. When we expressed our desire to move in on September 1st, she showed us a listing for August 17th. When we mentioned our price limit of 2500, she suggested a listing for 2900. We ended up staying in the same apartment, which had a better location and no homeless people sleeping around the complex.
