The Barringer Building

Oh boy. Where to begin, start at the good. The management is very vocal. Tout and claim a fun atmosphere. Living on Main St is nice, walkable distances to places and events and in the heart of downtown Columbia. Where things get bad, there are three elevators. One has been broken for almost a whole year now. Another has broken several times within a year. Older building, sure, but still. Most of the dryer machines have broken components, works, just damaged like the building itself. The biggest issue has been the air conditioning. It breaks, a lot. In a years time, I can safely say it has been down on three separate occasions. It’s hot is South Carolina, but it is colder outside than it is in the building.
