The Ballantyne Manor

whoever the 'manager' is that handles calls for the complex is rude and incredibly unhelpful. seems uninterested in helping anyone with questions regarding the property. never had an experience like this as a prospective renter.

Its not the highest end apartment in San Diego. Yet I will come back to Ballantyne Manor. I lived here for 4 years and manager Kathy treated me like her son. We both broke into tears on the day I left San Diego. You will love it. On February 2017, I moved to Ballantyne Manor. I looked for better apartments before I moved, but over the phone and internet request submittal, not so many managers responded. But Kathy was different. Since I moved in, I never decided to change my apartment once my lease was over though it was 18 miles far from my office. The very reasons are Kathy and the beautiful scenic drive I enjoyed through my home to office commute.

Thought I had a good relationship with Kathy, the property manager, apparently not, she showed her sexist card. Whatever her mentality was, at least I did pay MY rent. She decided to harbor a delinquent tenant over 6 months. Resulting in no money for HOBAN. On another note, this place will raise rent no matter what after a year. HOBAN is a joke of a company as well and I will never suggest someone to rent from them. They take extended amounts of time to do anything that is requested in advance. Not to mention excuses for not having items to replace. They pulled the out of stock regarding a medicine cabinet. They look for the cheapest items to help with the low amount of money that they spend on employees. When you call HOBAN don't expect a return call. HOBAN and Ballantyne Manor are a lame

I just called to politely inquire about any apartments available or if any pending ones where available and the person who answered was just super rude, at that point even if something came up its a hard pass for me, I at least need polite folks to deal with.

Iv never lived there but the manager is a really good lady(*'▽'*)♪B-)
