Don't live here!!!!!!!! I lived at the avenue for four years, and with each passing year, the complex got worse. - The leasing office staff that work here are incompetent. They do not care about helping you. - The maintenance staff are lazy, and not qualified to do even the most basic repairs. Our AC was broken for months during the summer, and maintenance reported there was “no issue”. We had to fight with management to get an outside company to come in - who confirmed we needed a whole new system installed. - The amenities are basically non existent. The pool was GREEN last summer, and was shut down by the Indiana Health Department for being so dirty! They didn’t even bother to open the pool this year!!! DO NOT LIVE HERE. IT IS NOT WORTH IT. In my time at The Avenue, this place proved to be an absolute disaster. Here’s a short list of what I endured: -My apartment flooded twice (videos included), and management told me it was still livable (pictures included of "livable"). -The elevator was broken more often than it worked. -Our HVAC system was broken for 8 months during the summer, and maintenance did nothing. -When I reported that it was 79°F in the apartment while set to 68°F, the maintenance man argued with me, claimed nothing was wrong, and — no surprise — was later fired for lying about his credentials. I lived at the Avenue for 2 years in a two bedroom apartment. If you are a student looking for apartments near campus, PLEASE DO NOT CHOSE THIS PLACE! Please read my lengthy concerns: LACK OF PRIVACY: This place treats your unit like a dorm. Quarterly inspections means 2 people from the leasing office will randomly come into your unit and search through your room/bathroom/closet. They once tried to charge me a pet fee because I had a cat carrier stored away but I did not have a cat living there. (I never had a cat live there.) Maintenance requests are even worse. You will not be aware of when a maintenance worker will arrive. They will enter even if you do not answer the door. They have entered when I’ve been unprepared. I was looking to relocate to the area for work, and was endlessly searching online. I called and spoke with Breanna, their leasing consultant. She made everything possible for me! Went above and beyond and facetimed me to show me the available units and walked me through the application process and answered all my questions before moving. Without her here it would have been very challenging to move and trust that I was being taken care of and my wants/needs explored! Thank you so much Breanna!

Lived here for a year and had a great time with a good community. I really liked having housing so close to campus activities. Lynn helped with all my housing questions and concerns fast and efficiently. I could not have asked for better help.
