The Apex at Crossgates

Being one of the first residents to have moved into a newly built modern aesthetic apartment and being on the top floor (5th floor), we have come across a lot of minor issues. Management and Maintenance have been patient, responsive and quick to resolve most issues. The management team (Ashton, Calan and Mike) also offer their residents many events to participate in, to bring the community together. (Petting zoo’s, Dinner Parties, Garden Parties etc) Apex offers many amenities (Outdoor pool, fire pit & grills, indoor gym, virtual games, etc) and is conveniently located between downtown for work and a short drive for many parks and recreational spots to go for quiet hikes and take in the beautiful sights NYS has to offer. I am writing this in hopes of helping other people who are searching for an apartment. I lived in my home for 26 years and loved it, but unfortunately the care, stairs, and outside work became too much. I looked at 7 apartment complexes in Albany, Slingerlands, and Guilderland. All couldn’t compare to the Apex at Crossgates. It is new, clean, beautiful inside and out and full of great amenities, but the most important thing is that I felt that I had been here for a lifetime! The people who make the difference in the office to name a few are Ashton, Michael, Calan, all have become family to me. They are always ready to help me with anything I may need. We recently moved into The Apex at Crossgates Apartments, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were impressed by the beautifully landscaped grounds and the welcoming atmosphere. The staff here are incredibly friendly and responsive. They made the application process smooth and were always available to answer our questions. The maintenance team deserves a special shout-out for their quick response times; any minor issues we’ve encountered have been resolved within a day. Our apartment is spacious and well-equipped. My husband and I toured Apex last winter while helping our son look for a place in Albany. We were so impressed, we kept thinking about the opportunity to move into a brand spanking new place with so much to offer-- large outdoor pool, grills, clubhouse with large gym, community space, and a pickleball court! Our son rented a large sunny apartment, and we decided to move into a townhouse, complete with garage. Everyone on the staff goes out of their way to be helpful, open, and professional. Communication is outstanding. It's so quiet here, it's hard to believe we are close to shops, malls, restaurants, and lots of outdoor recreation. There are some social activities where we have met friendly residents. This is an amazing community!

We’ve been living in Apex for 1 month, and we’ve loved it. The common areas are beautiful, we love the gym, and the maintenance of the complex is very good. And the best part is that we have so many places close to the apartment that you can even walk to.
