The Apartments at Oak Hill

A friend of mine lived there for about 7 years. The apartmentsi are very small for the price they are asking for. New mangement are terrible. They tell you one thing and dio something different. Black mold and bugs. Very poor mangement. The buildings smell and are dirty. The maintenance people don't know what they are doing. People don't clean up after there dogs. The worst place to live. Way over priced for the small apartments. I can't believe how they treat people. All they care about is the money they get for a shoe box apartment. Please be aware of what your getting into here.

since living here we feel more secure that there will not be any homeless/or anyone there for wrong reseaons ,,,its just a better atmosphere

I live in Building 67 and have noticed quite a few changes lately. When Oak Hill took over and raised the rent, I was definitely annoyed at first. But now, I can see that the increase is helping fund some much-needed improvements the complex has needed for a long time. They’ve been repainting all the buildings, installing new railings on the balconies, and adding fob access to secure the buildings so that only residents and authorized guests can enter. I’m still waiting on my gym access fob, but they told me they’re working on improving that system, so I’m willing to give them some time. They also mentioned plans to improve the pool area, which I really hope happens. Honestly, it would be great if all residents took pride in where they live, like I do—but I know that’s not always the case

I've lived here for 5.5 years now. Now that it's Oak Hill it's been extremely frustrating being told they will do certain inspections or maintenance on a specific day. Not show up, yet decide to come on another day without any notice of new the date they are coming. With that being said, on new date with no notice if you don't answer they let themselves in. I understand if they need to doccertain thing but it would just be nice to have a heads up so I can make sure I'm decent and not half dressed...

Previously known as the bradford, we saw maybe two roaches in the time we lived there, we kept our area much cleaner than other residents though. Our downstairs neighbors had bags of trash on their porch for almost a year, and were still there when we moved out. However, a bigger concern I don't see people mention is the mold. When we first moved in, I noticed after a week that one of the vents had something in it. It was a dryer sheet gone black with mold. I checked the vents and they were disgusting. Maintenance stopped by and said it was rust and wouldn't take care of it (landlords are not required to handle mold in the state of MD.) The washers on the first floor were constantly leaking to the point I had to wear boots when I did laundry. There were holes behind the washing machines th
