The Apartments at Blakeney

Lived here 6 years because I could walk to work. Started out great, but 3 management companies later, not so much. Top 3 Pros: apt size, complex safety, convenient location. Cons: all maintenance is through portal. Office doesn't return calls or e-mails. Amenities are limited. Pool was closed on Memorial Day and July 4th. Package room and car wash removed. Recycling area is always a disaster. There are newer complexes nearby that are competitively priced.

Registered my car for parking and still got booted. There was a typo in the plate number but all the other info was correct. They are not honoring the registration and charging $200 just to take it off. See other reviews if you normally have guests or own a car don’t move here, unless you want to pay excessive fees and deal with unreasonable companies and their employees who are out to steal money and rip off tenants.

Very nice apartments, at a reasonable price. But a special thanks to the manager Crystal, who explained everything so well, showed me around the building, and answered all my numerous questions. It was only thanks to her dedicated approach to her work that I decided to stay in this building. "Crystal is the best!!!!"

This location is perfect for my lifestyle. I am a 28 year old who loves to shop and loves a healthy lifestyle. The stores around the area are exactly the stores I already shop at. It is super convenient to have a gym in the complex (did I mention 24 hour fitness center???? Who needs a gym membership when you have that?) The business area is my daughter’s favorite. We go and play some educational games to get out of the house. The staff is so friendly and professional. Elsy has been super kind to us both and makes us feel like we are home. Not just renting an apartment. I hope to renew as long as I’m able to. Maintenance is very prompt and informative. I just moved in at the beginning of the month and have had a great expirence. Kristen had been especially helpful during the entire process as well. She has helped us through the application process, move in and even now. She has helped us by being personable, responsive, and efficient in answering questions, processing maintenance requests, and more. I would definitely recommend moving here!
