The Amarillo Apartments

0/10 stars actually. Please, If you have an option of a cardboard box, live in there INSTEAD of here. Absolutely horrible. Here’s My Experience: I stayed here for 2 years. Hot water would randomly turn off. RATS, ROACHES, SPIDERS, ANTS ETC !!! Mexican music at 3AM, stray cats and dogs, trash everywhere. The ceiling in my bathroom literally FELL IN ! and it stayed that way for 1 month. I ended up moving out before it was ever fixed. Management taped a piece of paper to everyone’s door letting them know about the FREE TV GIVEAWAY (if you paid your rent by the first), yet maintenance could never give me a timeframe of when the bathroom would be fixed. Because there was a LIST and I was not the only resident who had this issue. Apartments are painted horribly. Parking is scarce. Management c

I dont even want to rate them a ONE STAR.I was recently trying to move here I feel like we were being racially profiled. I had the money, the id, the check stubs, everything and they continue to show Mexicans around the same day and couldn’t even leave the office to show us one apartment. The office told us they had 3-4 people that’s been waiting for almost a month…The Office People An Attends are rude. my 4 month old recently got hit by another kid with a stick and no one did anything. And my Aunt that Stays Here Told Me The Apartments Are Infected With Roaches And Spiders. The Drains Always gets Stopped Up.

If I could give this place a 0 star I would!!! Haven't been in the apartment for a month and it's infested with rats and roaches. You're better off living at a shelter if you choose to live here!!! Nothing has been done about the peat issue since I moved in then the heat went out in the unit so I was without heat for a whole month not to mention I have a baby so it has been a nervous wreck!!!

Just want to give the manager Patricia Thanks for all ur hard work i had been request work orders to be done now finally are done and i have notice the property clean you do care not like other managers that did not care.for us.I Will renew my lease after all .

Moved my mother in about a month ago , we used to live here back about 4 years ago but management has definitely changed and thankfully for the better , isabel the current manager made the move in process very simple , easy and welcoming. Maint has been good so far , considering how old the apartment complex is we’ve seen Mario the maint guy doing everything he can to make sure all the residents are taken care of to the best of his ability. For a 2 person property these two definitely have made a big difference compared to what it was 4 years ago ! Keep up the great work guys !
