The Alante in Alexandria

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve lived at The Alante for years — actually moved out once and ended up moving right back because I missed it so much! This is hands down one of the best apartment communities in the Alexandria area. The location is perfect — right off the highway and super close to DC. The apartments are beautiful, modern, and upgraded with stainless steel appliances, in-unit washer and dryer, and a stylish kitchen. The management team is always friendly, professional, and super helpful. The maintenance crew is amazing too — very knowledgeable, quick to respond, and always on point. They recently upgraded security with door lock boxes and unique access codes, which makes the buildings feel even safer. Plus, guest parking is super convenient! I lived in these apartments for a while, and initially, I really liked the place: it was spacious and conveniently located. The maintenance team is incredible, very helpful, and quick. However, my experience changed over time. I decided to move was the security issues. I lived on the ground floor, and there were times when strangers looked through my window, which made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. I'm currently handling this matter in court, which has been very stressful and disappointing. That said, I want to express my sincere gratitude to José from the leasing office. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional from day one until the very end, and even after I moved out, he has continued to assist me. I am very grateful to him and highly recommend his services.🙏🏼🫶🏼

I see why the ratings are so low here. I was scared to drop something off here as I was afraid a mouse or roach would try to catch a ride out. Perhaps if someone would remove the dead bird, the mice wouldn’t have dinner just laid out. There are so many mice droppings here from the feast. I took the pictures from the inside of building 4700 at alante. It’s noticeable from the second level of stairs as you exit. The cleaners should definitely have seen and notified management because I saw it just simply leaving the building. This is gross.

Please beware!!! I lived in one of their newly renovated units(4842). The roaches were everywhere. They were in all the appliances and all the electrical sockets. It was disgusting!! The exterminators could not get rid of them. On top of that, parking is a big problem. You may not find parking spot if you come home from work after 7pm.

The reception office is one of the worst offices I have ever seen in my life. They are very unprofessional and disrespectful.”
