The 805 W Lofts

I have had a great experience living here for about a year and a half. It is very close to campus so it is perfect for VCU students. I feel safe and I love the windows we have on the 4th floor. The view is also nice and maintenance is always very timely and punctual. The leasing office has always been very nice to us and I have never had a problem. The biggest concerns I have experienced my time here is stolen packages. I personally have not had mine stolen, but there constantly are emails being sent about stolen packages. While there is a system to have them safely delivered, they are often just left in the hallway floor for anyone to take. Additionally, if you ride a bike you may want to live somewhere else. I love saying here at 805. All of the staff at 805 have been nothing but a blessing to me. I moved from hours away and they have been so supportive. They always answer the phone and come to fix anything in my apartment so quickly. My apartment is amazing it is spacious and makes me feel right at home. Anytime family comes to visit they are like wow I wasn’t expecting this!! It’s a great place to live!!

Love the place it’s been great. A bit of lack of communication on the management side but other than that no problems! Lexi has been a great addition with helping with all this in resolved questions had and getting me settled in.

UPDATE: I lived at the property for almost two years and moved out early in summer of 2024 with no fees due to issues occurring with the property manager. I will acknowledge that if you are an average student this building is great, as it is right next to campus but that about where the benefits end. Originally both myself and my family were highly impressed with the property. The property manager at the time (Finnessa) was extremely nice and ensured any concerns were handled. I am an ambulatory mobility aid user and have an accessibility placard to ensure I can easily access the building. The parking area under the building had three accessible spaces but people had a tendency to use them without a placard. This review is specifically for the leasing office woman, Tricia (Patricia). My boyfriend and I moved here for his medical school from San Diego. In a new city, new coast, new everything, we were pretty overwhelmed with the transition. Tricia is literally the nicest, most considerate, thoughtful, attentive person you could ever want as a leasing office person, and a friend. She has gone OUT OF HER WAY multiple times to make sure her tenants are taken care of, heard, and reassured. She has made improvements to the building, offered resources for stressed students, put on fun events, and always greets us and our dog with the kindest words. She is sincere and truly one of the kindest people we’ve ever met. Let Tricia be the reason you choose to live here. She is incredible.
