Terraces At the Oaks

This review gets me upset because we thought this place was nice and refused to ignore the bad reviews but they(management)don’t really care and it’s not their fault it’s the owners who can care less about who lives here it’s just business They tell you they will get things done but it’s all just bull and lies. Manager is nice but no control over this property. Pro- spacious, great views, nice neighbors, park across Cons-super thin walls , major plumbing issues, electrical issues, outdated interiors for what it’s ask for rent , horrible communication with management and maintenance, they go in your home with no notice, maintenance never gets done 100% always halfa$$ed , terrible parking spaces, storage is super small, always smells like weed(pot) , lots of mosquitoes and fleas, terrible

Run down building, terrible management company, and terrible property manager. She’s super rude and pretends to be nice in front of prospective tenants. The maintenance issues never actually get fixed, they just slap bandages over the problems. There’s also a noise issue in the courtyard, there’s this really loud annoying machine that goes off every so often, pretty much every 2 minutes in the summer. You can’t leave your windows open that’s how loud and annoying it is, and pretty sure the level of noise is illegal for a residential property. The parking lot is in terrible shape, the ceilings in the hallways leak whenever it’s raining, the gym is missing equipment and is dirty, and the company tries to jip you when you move out.

If I could leave negative stars I would. My roommate and I moved in February 1st of 2016 thinking we found a great place for reasonable rent. Since moving in, we've had a plumbing, electric, or Maintenance person in our apartment almost every single week since move in. To start: half of the light bulbs had to be replaced within the first week. Our landlord was replaced with a horrible unprofessional woman as a temp that couldn't help us whatsoever during the transition, who once entered our unit without permission! At first, we weren't able to take a shower longer than 3-5 minutes. The management decided to replace the tiny gas water heater, which did nothing. They skirt through on illegal practices while trying to bamboozle people onto thinking that they are being legitimate. It's a sham or a management company.
