Terrace Apartments

This apartment is horrible wish I could give it 0 stars. The walls are paper thin and you will literally be woken up all the time from yours neighbors. I am currently living here and have been here 6 months and I will not be renewing my lease. This apartment is infested with bugs! You will be bitten and possibly take something with you when you leave as well as see roaches even when your apartment is very clean. I would not recommend this apartment building to anyone it’s too expensive for what you get and you will be taken through the ringer to get any problems fixed. The fire alarm is drawn at least 2 times a week from tenants smoking. (This is a smoke free building by the way and the management does nothing to remedy this!) Terrible especially if you have a top floor apartment because they have a decrepit old elevator that is broken half the time, for weeks at a time. Plus it's downright dangerous to get in and out of. Secondly it's like pulling teeth trying to communicate with the management. I contacted them about what there policy was on ending a lease early. There was nothing in the one page contract they gave me. At first they just said they would sue me for the remaining lease due. I contacted them again months later about moving out early and they finally told me that they have a 90 day policy allowing tenants to move out early. So, I agreed to it and put it in writing. As far as their property the Terrace in West Philly; the hallways stink, the building does not enforce the tenants violating the lease in various ways, the elevator is at times straight up dangerous with no emergency call button, and the blasting music can keep you up all night. I currently live here now and can't wait to leave. I am writing this now and plan on writing another once I leave. So I currently live in this complex and I am extremely satisfied with the LOCATION. It's blocks away from the hospital, mass transit, & restaurants. The apartments are not spacious for the price. Every year the rent increases 5%. A handful of the neighbors are friendly and the rest are horrible. Everyday the elevator gets stuck on the 4th floor and remains broke for days. My first yr of living at this complex the fire alarm went off every night because tenants used to smoke and set the alarms off. A few apartments/ tenants place their speakers in the window and blast their music ALL DAY & ALL NIGHT. I make several complaints per week to the property manager about the tenant disturbances and they DO NOTHING. They tell me to just call the POLICE. The floors and walls are paper thin so be pre
