They managed a building I owned for 4 years. They do the minimum necessary and expect you to be an absentee owner, happy with the monthly reports. They make no effort to know the tenants. Some of their charges for services are ridiculous. When the water bill jumped, I questioned what was going on and the answer was that non-tenants must be using the washing machine. Turns out that Hagerstown had just increased the water rates. Just plain do not do their homework. When I was replacing them with another PM, they allowed a tenant with 4 kids to go 3 months without a working stove and never told me. In my experience, they really do not care about the tenants. Their attitude is they can do no wrong. Believe me, there are better property managers out there.

Overall, after they got the place I was renting, they sent repair guys out to fix things. However, the water heater needed to be replaced, and the furnace was not to code. Flooring was really bad, along with water damage to celling walls and floors due to the roof. It was a bug infested due to the lady who lived next door . The old owner did nothing to fix anything. When synergy took over, things started to get fixed . However, there was only so much can be done with people living there . My family moved out how bad the building was. I know what berner Ave looked like before it was bad. I looked online and saw what was done it looks amazing, which makes me happy to see they stayed with the colors I started painting. You guys have done a wonderful job fixing 😀 the place. Just wow

Synergy rental agency is responsible for all repairs and don't take long time to get it done,it get five stars for their services

They are very Stern. Definitely Not willing to work with everyone, Far from patient and responsive. When i decided to contact this company I was going through a rough patch... I would’ve been in the streets if I’d have depended on synergy to help me. Katie is pretty impolite and incompetent. I felt judged and distrusted. She also never follows up when she claims she will. I’m not sure who makes decisions at synergy but they are apathetic , deceptive, vague and inconsiderate .. I could easily go on& on ….. I’d avoid communication with this property management company all in all

Sheryl and Katie are a dream come true. They are willing to work with everyone, no matter the circumstances, and go above and beyond to make their tenants feel at home. My home is clean and welcoming and such a place of peace. They are very patient and responsive; care and concern are apparent. Katie is such a sweetie and Sheryl runs a smooth business. Synergy Management has my highest recommendation.
