Sylvan Park Apartments

DO NOT MOVE HERE!! worst place i have ever lived. we lived with cockroaches for 8 months, the exterminator came 5 times and eventually told us there was nothing that could be done. the management SUCKS.. it has taken over 90 days to receive my security deposit back. do not be swayed by the price. oh yeah we had mice at one point in time as well. everyone in the management office is extremely incompetent, especially the head lard Tiffany. Im fairly sure half of the management office is family related, so dont count on sylvan park having a positive turn around anytime soon. LOOK ELSEWHERE. MONEY PIT.

do not live here. repeat, do not live here, the price is great and the location is prime, but other than that, there is no reason to live here. i've been living here for a year almost and have been dealing with a roach infestation the entire time. i don't mean like one or two roaches every once in a while, i mean every single night going into the kitchen with a feeling of dread knowing that i'm going to turn on the light and watch at least 10 of them run away. ever. single. night. I have complained about this issue a lot, at least once a month every month i've lived here, and they always try and make me feel like it's my fault. also the landlord lady, tiffany, lies. she has said things directly to me (i.e. that she would replace all the linoleum because it was all dirty and paint spla

The service I have received from the staff at sylvan park was extremely poor. I regret moving into sylvan park apartments. My garbage disposal didnt work for months. I moved in on november 1st and it didnt get fixed until april. SIX MONTHS to fix a garbage disposal is outrageous! They didnt even put a new one in, they just completely took it out and put in new pvc pipes.They didnt even have that installed properly. Water was leaking through the seals. I was tires of dealing with them and got someone else to fix it. Now my AC isnt working. It is HOT in my house and i have been with out AC for a MONTH. I have a 3 year old and she has been uncomfortable in her own home. I have only stayed because I signed a one year lease and I am a responsible person. But I can not take living in this situat

Changed their name to "The Grove" and got new management but still just as crappy as ever. Repairs go weeks without being done. They recently repaved all the parking lots, without telling the tenants until a few days before hand. The pavement is now cracked and warped because the people they contracted did such a poor jobs. I never had a problem with roaches until their new exterminators moved in. Now I find one at least once a week. Their maintenance guys are loud and fly through the parking lots like they are competing for NASCAR. Make no mistake, the new management here is just as bad as the old management. I think it's especially ironic considering that when they took over, they could not badmouth the old management enough, to the point that they had to send out a letter apolog

WHEN I FIRST APPLIED TO THIS PLACE AND RECEIVED APPROVAL I WAS ASSIGNED AN APARTMENT NUMBER, PRIOR TO MOVE IN THEY HAD ME TURN ON THE LIGHTS IN THE APARTMENT IN WHICH WAS SUPPOSE TO BE MINE BUT THE DAY OF MOVE IN NOT ONLY DID I NOT SIGN A LEASE THEY CHANGED MY APARTMENT NUMBER SO MY LIGHTS WERE ON IN SOMEONE ELSE'S APARTMENT WHICH MEAN SINCE IT WAS A SATURDAY I HAD TO WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY (MONDAY) TO SPEAK WITH THE ELECTRIC COMPANY TO HAVE THE ISSUE CORRECTED, THE ELECTRIC COMPANY COULDN'T CORRECT THE ISSUE THE SAME DAY SO I HAD TO WAIT UNTIL TUESDAY TO HAVE IT FIXED. SO I BASICALLY WENT 3 DAYS WITHOUT LIGHTS AND HOT WATER, OH BUT IF THAT WASN'T ENOUGH ONCE THE LIGHTS WERE ON, I FOU
