Swift Creek Commons Apartments

If I was able to give a zero star I definitely would. Where do I start? This apt. was advertised as gated but the front gate on the right side when you enter stays open all day so anyone can enter. The day I received my keys the apartment was extremely dirty! (look at the photos below) Dog hair from the previous owner was found. ROACHES in the apartment so the exterminator was never called before I moved. The maintenance team is an absolute joke. Also they don't where OSHA approved gear which is a safety hazard and violation. They walk around in Jordans and sunglasses. They didn't even turn the apartment, I had to tell them what was needed when they arrived. During my stay here, overall the apartment itself was alright. Amenities are nothing special. The problems I had were that after 4 attempts my front door had yet to have a simple door frame lock plate installed. They ended up removing it and just never replacing it. Which meant the door essentially was open to the environment (There goes heating/ac electric bill). After that, they installed pipe in several areas of my apartment. This is because as I found out on my own, that Radon was a serious problem in the apartment below me. They didn't even tell me about this problem. They gave me a $50 credit for the pipes. After this, I received news that I was getting a new job in a different state and needed to move. Most apartments have a policy that under certain circumstances you aren't liable

So my blind fell down while cleaning my windows. I called the office to place an order hoping maintenance will come out due to possible neighbors being able to see directly through my apt. I was told by staff that staff will be back on Monday and my privacy isn’t an emergency. For a resident who has lived here for more than five years I’m extremely disappointed in the lack of urgency I received.

Nice apartments. Washer and dryer included, decent amount of closet space and a quiet community. BUT that office staff, be careful!! Shady!!! Ask all possible questions and document those answers. Matter of fact, just record your interaction. They will try to NOT give you the discounts that their company offers. Certain career fields gets a discount when applying. They will give you a hard time about it, though. Make sure you dot all Is and cross all Ts. I've been here for over 6 months now and the community has been fully gated& secured maybe once. They always keep at least one gate open. If you're looking for a truly gated community, THIS IS NOT the place. Despite that fact, the community has been quiet and feels safe all hours of the day. USPS delivers packages here to the bottom of the stairs if you live on the 2nd or 3rd floor!! 3 of my packages have went missing since I moved here and the office staff don’t care at all. She literally stared me in my face as if I was not speaking English. I’ve been here for 4 months. I thought these apartments were amazing but truth is the office staff have 0 customer service skills and aren’t willing to help with nothing but paying your rent!
