Sweetwater Homes of Citrus

We built our home (custom) 9 years ago for afar (Ohio, 1000 miles away). They built us a very fine home but we had to fight tooth and nail to get it. It started with the first pictures when a transom window on the blueprint was blocked as a regular window. From then on, we drove down once a month from Ohio to inspect our home. Every time we pointed out at least 30+ items that were wrong, some minor, many major. The thing is, it was right on the blueprint but they never looked at it. At the end, we were told we had a move in ready home. When we arrived (as we told them we would) we didn’t even have an occupancy permit, no lawn or landscaping, washer and dryer in the living room. In the end, we got our beautiful home but we had to go to war to get it.

Sweetwater did an outstanding job on our custom home on the Homosassa River. The materials and workmanship were high quality and their staff was professional and attentive. Their pricing was very competitive by reason of their high volume and lower purchasing and construction costs. I would highly recommend them.

There are too many things to list here that we were disappointed with. They're the worst builder. I would not choose them for anyone. Terrible customer service kind, no design team, very unreliable and took twice as long to build our home as expected. So many mistakes. Too many to list

We just love love our new custom built Royale home by “Sweetwater Homes” It is by far the best builder around! My husband did his research many years ago when bought our property to build on later for retirement, to start our new journey. As we’ve moved here to Florida 2 years ago & watched other homes in surrounding area being built around us, as we rented nearby waiting for our home to be completed, they are definitely not built as well or with any pride as Sweetwater Builder is for sure! Yes it took a little longer to build our home, then most builders, but it’s custom built there is a difference, yes maybe a bit more in cost to build, but you get what you want with upgrades that are of course optional, yes some little tweaks along the way and after moving in, As all homes have, happen
