Was a reasonably decent and reasonably cheap enough place to live if you don't mind large piles of garbage piled up around the dumpsters constantly. I'd have to say the biggest downside was them keeping my deposit and then charging me TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS in past rent that I 100% did not owe, and then not notifying me of it until it was already being handled by their in-house collection agency and threatening legal action. You could probably do better living-situation-wise, but if you do live here I would definitely keep a hard record/paper trail of all of your payments you give them or they will absolutely screw you over.

I used to work in the property management industry... DO NOT MOVE HERE! If I could give 0 Stars I would. The unit my family was given to rent had clearly flooded at some point before moving in. There were roaches everywhere and it was clear as day that the unit hadn't been professionally cleaned let alone walked through before they handed over the keys. In the washer, there was dried-up liquid laundry detergent that had been poured into the bleach dispenser and the washer didn't work for weeks because they forgot to turn the water on. We were left to clean the mess up after they turned my water back on. The blinds were missing on the sliding glass door and dining room window. Somehow I had an outstanding balance sent to collections when I wasn’t even a leaseholder. Also I was given less than a 24hour notice that I had to move because the leaseholder was approved and moving into a different unit AFTER I had paid my months rent a week prior. I had to I tried speaking to the leasing office and they refused to disclose further detail on this matter and told me “they were unable to find my lease.” And the refund on my rent would be returned to the leaseholder since I am not. Unethical business is occurring at Sunset Park. Request this matter to be escalated to a supervisor ASAP as this has severely and wrongfully affected my credit.

Parking is a serious problem here. Late at night, when spaces are already limited, residents park across two spots, and there is no enforcement. On top of that, there are vehicles that never move or even turn on, parked for months, taking up valuable space. Very frustrating for residents who actually need parking.

Hi! We have lived here 6 years. The first five years were okay and more “affordable.” (1,600) This year this neighborhood has had multiple break ins with privately owned vehicles and private garages. I have a video of a car getting its window smashed a couple months ago, right outside my window. Another neighbors’ kia was stolen. Last month, my downstairs neighbor single tire was stolen. Yes, just one tire. She found her vehicle on a jack the following morning. Lastly, but not the least last night one of my cars was almost broken into. They broke off the door latch off our white suv. The website claims “night patrol” yet in 6 years i have not seen “night patrol” They increased our rent this year.
