Sun Ridge Village Apartments

I've had positive experiences with everyone working here. Maintenance is right on any issues brought to them, and the office has been quick to respond to any questions that I have. My apartment has been remodeled and everything was in great shape when I moved in. I love being able to walk to almost anything I need. If you choose to ride the bus, there are two bus lines very nearby. I'm very happy with the apartment and the complex! general.

I had a very accommodating and great experience working with the office manager Laura Dixon. I had just signed a new lease eager to start living there. However, a week into my stay my mother passed away. As a result, I had to drop my lease to move away to take time away. Laura was not only helpful on a professional level but also a personal level as well. She managed to help me reduce my termination to something manageable. I really appreciate what she did for me. Really quite a horrible palace to live. From the area of cruces to slimey management. Absolutely egregious pricing for the quality of housing. Hack jobs all over, I kid you not we had a hole in our window from being shot that was covered in packing tape! Management will certainly screw you out of your security deposit too! Apparently wear and tear warrants $250 deduction in deposit with no receipts, ha! (Dottie in management is lovely though). Run the other way! This place is genuinely a nightmare. (Edit) then management has the audacity to claim the place was left a mess. Entirely neglecting the fact that the place was semi cleaned upon moving in. The rating for this apartment complex is definitely lower than it should be. I've lived here for a couple years and Sun Ridge is not bad! Since I've moved in, the roofs have been replaced, as have the windows and a/c units. The parking lot has been re-tarred and the landscape redone. I rarely hear my neighbors through the walls. Anytime something breaks, which has been rare for me, it gets fixed in a timely manner. There are two pools that are nice and well kept. The laundry machines are work well. I've honestly never had any issues with management, nor maintenance. The residents are quiet and respectful for the most part (there are still a few who must think picking up after their pet is beneath them). All in all, I'd recommend this apartment complex. PSA! Anyone interested in Sun Ridge, turn around and walk away! This is the absolute worst apartment complex to live in within Las Cruces. I got accused of my cat destroying all the carpet in a 2br. A therapy animal, trained professionally for 10 years. My cat died a month after I moved in but somehow did this the following year. To add to that I was paying $950/Mo yet, I put in 6 service requests that my dishwasher didn’t work and was flooding. I did not get to use it at all. It was never fixed, just ignored. You will only be able to use your SWAMP COOLER 2 months. So what is the $950/mo for? I lived there only a year and by the time I moved out my monthly rent was at $1200.
