Living here was nonstop stress because management constantly changed the rules and then blamed residents. My car was towed before the deadline they gave me (they later admitted it was a miscommunication and waived the fee, but only after it already happened). Move-out was even worse: I was hit with hundreds of dollars in charges for normal wear and tear, “pet odor” that wasn’t there, and tiny things like a removable sticker and leftover cleaning supplies. Most of the “proof” was estimates made after I moved out, not real invoices or inspections. After move-out, they billed me $788.16 total, including $200 for “general cleaning,” $150 for “pet odor treatment,” $85 for carpet steam cleaning, $110 for blinds, $45 for paint touch-ups, and even $20 to remove two bags of trash. This was all aft
Just checked my lease 😳! It was a 15-month lease, And I have to give two months notice. Failing to do this gives me a hefty penalty. As per my lease if I do not pay the rent by the 3rd. Penalty and administration fees. Due to the way my paychecks have fallen, this has been a problem a few times. Resulting in fees above $200. They are in partnership with the towing company that tows cars out of here on a regular basis. My car registered with the apartment complex tags in the window was stolen by their towing company. When inquired they said it was a legal toll because the plates were not attached to the car. I've been living here for 9 months. No notice, no warning. No nothing. Just stole my car 🤯 truly wish I'd read the reviews on this place.
Do not rent here if you value your health, privacy, and safety. While touching up peeling paint before moving out, I found that one of the walls was actually two thin pieces of paperboard taped together, covered in visible black mold. I was repeatedly sick during my lease with symptoms consistent with mold exposure. Make of that what you will. The bathtub and tiles were painted over with non-waterproof paint, which obviously peeled with normal use. They told me it would be taken out of my deposit, so I had to repair it myself. They exceeded the 30-day deadline to return my deposit and only sent it after multiple follow-ups. They deducted around $200 for “pet smell”, even though the place reeked when I moved in. Their website advertised a gated community to provide a “secure environment
Resident Journal Review Overall- 5stars Service from the staff here. Rules are inform by the email to keep the resident experience and environment safe and healthy. The maintenance service is beyond standard! 1.50$ washing and drying service. Gorgeous night view in the area. Email notification for USPS Package arrive in front office. Con: AC Machine sounds loud in night. (But which doesn't?) My experience: 4/1/20- Move in in the E building, amazing area with an amazing staff! Please come and experience it yourself! You'll know what I meant, and you won't regret! 4/8/20- First time using the maintenance service, RESPOND IN 20MINS! Request is completed. 4/17/20- Pool opened, it's beautiful with a upscale BBQ Area as well. 4/27/20~ Google Fiber coming soon!!! 4/29/20- The faucet of the show
Don’t move here. The moving out experience was really bad. The fact that i am one of many who had a really bad move out experience tells this property is committed to being unaccommodating and exploitative. A lot of charges that i was made to pay made no sense and were clearly exploitative. They are causing a lot of their ex-tenants extreme emotional distress and I am truly sympathetic of those that are not able to pursue this matter in small claims court. I hope that the influx of negative comments on Google will provide this company an opportunity to reflect on the kind of impact you hope to have on the Austin community and improve how you handle future cases.
