Summerstone

Living on the other side of the country, since found this apt complex and since the first interaction with Olivia super nice and willingly to do a video tour and provide us with all of the details. The lease process even under our circumstances moving while in between jobs, was one of the most smooth process, as Olivia even though out of the office still took the time and care to work in our lease and so does Lacey as well. Well Finally my husband and I drove for few days nonstop and our Studio is super cozy and nice, last night with only 10 plus hours into the state and our new home. We already feel like home Thank you Olivia for being so amazing and caring about each one individually. Pic of our lovely kitchen. Its been a pleasure living here at Summerstone. Apt Manager Olivia is truly awesome! She was communicative, responsive, and has helped me with issues i had while living there. What i loved about this apartment is that I felt safe overall. Walls are thick and my neighbors were quiet (but thats me living on the 5th floor). Only downside for me is I struggled a bit to find parking (street parking only). Other than that, neighborhood is great. Columbia City, PCC market, library, park,- walking distance. Be very careful about this place. Management, specifically Olivia, puts on a kind face, but action-wise is notably disorganized and in my experience difficult to get ahold of. After 5 months of a broken microwave/convection oven, they finally brought a new one today for me, only to have it not fit the nook it is meant for, because they didn’t check the measurements. So now they have to order another one. I asked for a paper copy of my lease as is my right as a tenant under WA law, and they provided a copy of it missing over 30 pages. I have asked and asked for a replacement and they have not given it to me. The building construction is new, so they instituted sewer capacity fees in September, 46/month, which they did not alert me to when I was doing a walk-through. Community that lives the

The lease for Summerstone states a $100 late fee + $10 each additional day if rent is late. Seattle law (SMC §7.24.034) only permits $10 per month in late charges. Tenants should be aware that the lease contains terms above the legal limit.

I toured a few units with Olivia, and it goes without saying that she is a wonderful property manager! She took the time to follow up with me over text, email, send videos of additional units, and gave a thorough review of the property in this amazing community. Its an awesome community with great energy!
