Summerhill Apartments

I lived there for 14 Years, raised my kids there. I admit I was late here and there but I was NEVER a problem tenant. Got behind on rent about a Month and a half to months and they evicted me! Took me to court even though I had ALL the money they asked for! Horrible management! The maintenance guy was Amazing and a hard worker but that’s all the nice things I have to say.. I guarantee they got rid of me because I had grandfathered rent in so I wasn’t paying what they wanted.

With the help of Matt and Larissa, the moving out process was quick and easy. While we lived there, the apartments were decent and the rowdy neighbors were addressed. After Matt stepped in, he made sure things got done in a more timely manor than the previous management, thank goodness. Hopefully it's all uphill from there. I didn't know Larissa long but she seemed nice.

Horrible treatment from management. Only dealt with one person so can’t say anything about the rest. Felt biased, and Uncomfortable throughout the whole process of weeks. Tried to give the benefit of the doubt and go through it with a smile and open mind however it just got worse and worse. The kindness/ friendly Personality is lacking. I ran through the entire process and kept up on it myself making phone calls, checking on it which is the only reason it got anywhere. There was a stipulation to being accepted, including having a voucher in, which was aware From the beginning that I did not know what that was or have one but reside in Subsidize currently. I had hope for a new beginning with my medical issues raising children alone and to be closer to family and was very disappointed in the

So far living here has been really nice, nice neighbors, and a cute little playground for the kids to play

Trash Apartments. Their reputation is tarnished. The police don't even like coming here. Break ins all the time. Summerhill said not their responsibility. Takes weeks or months to even fix anything. I lived a whole winter without heat, once I mentioned free rent "Oh, no. We don't do that" They don't clean the carpets. Can't have box fans or plug in heaters. Can't have visitors more than 5 times a week. Need to basically "Ask permission " and fill out their "Info" aka, license plate etc. Can't bbq at all. Smoking sections or in your car. But I was told to close my door and roll the window down. Um....what is the difference between my door open and a window? Can't have any colored window shades. Have to be white. Can't have anything on walls or in front of the windows, or you get wrote up.
