Studio City

Studio City is an up and coming funky warehouse arts district along NE 13th Street block in Ft. Lauderdale. The area was rundown but after the city invested in the streetscape by adding crosswalks, bike lanes, and streetlights, businesses took notice and began moving in. Every business owner in Studio City is a creator and their workspace is their studio. You can find an eclectic mix of small businesses ranging from food, drinks, arts, shopping, and services. New businesses are looking to this section of the city as an alternative to nearby Flagler Village. I really love exploring this area where several businesses are set to open complementing already existing ones like Mingo Makes It, a pottery studio in the former Christmas Palace. This is my neighborhood. Happy to see developers making it nice. Restaurants,brewery’s coffee shops & retail along a newly renovated street. Really cleaning up the area.
