Strata at Plantation

Visited the location last week with my daughter. Lori the sales rep was very informative and welcoming. Loved the sleek and updated look in kitchen and bathrooms. The garage and drive way were also amazing for the price. Club house and fitness center very accessible. Only thing I didn’t like was not being able to put fencing in backyard vs open yard concept. Would be a potential buyer in the future if this is changed.

We made an appointment with Lori and it was a total waste of time. You’ll get more information online than from the sales person. We felt totally dismissed. She didn’t told us how much they cost or when the three bedroom we liked would be available( between 6 months to 2 years. That’s a huge range!). I can’t understand how a sales person can be so oblivious. Even if they are selling the townhomes as good as they say, professionalism should always be present.

Maggie was awful to work with. I understand delays and even lack of communication but Maggie is not acceptable. She was nasty and miserable to speak to. It was like speaking to a wall. Actually worst than that. She is completely incompetent. Lying through her teeth and when shown facts still stuck to her lies lol. Just Horrible customer service. She needs to reevaluate her career choice. I would never trust her with any of my real estate decisions. If the builder trusts her to handle his affairs with this project then I do not trust the builder. The project looks really cool but if I have to deal with that person for another year. I would rather buy somewhere else. I didn’t know if I would actually write a review because I chose not to move forward with strata but after seeing others post

I called to get some information on the property and wanted to swing by and see the demos but the girl on the phone was horrible. She was more interested in knowing if I had the deposit available then answering any questions. I had asked when is the project looking to be finished and she just said "very soon" which is an obvious lie. I moved out of a near by property in early 2017 when the demolition started on the land and I am shocked this is not yet completed. Also I'm glad the girl was so snobby because I lost interest in the place and it did make me remember how bad the traffic is /was in that area and I can just imagine how much worse it's going to be. Horrible customer service with keeping future home owners updated on progress. I signed my contract in April of 2017 and i was promised a delivery date of Oct 2017, it is now APril 2018. Many excuses have been provided by the builder but with no consideration of the hardship these delays have cost me. For instance the rate I was quoted on back in 2017 was 4%, a year later that rate will be much higher, also i am paying rent month to month at a higher rate all because of Starta inabbility to be transparent with the buyers of actual completion date. They have taken the joy out of buying my home! and by the way since they have my deposit I am stuck waiting for this unit i dont even want anymore!. I suggest you look at other properties, like Lennar they seem to be much more professional.
