The new 5 star reviews you’re seeing is deceptive bc whenever maintenance is finished with peoples problems, they ask you leave a google review for the maintenance person. They’re great people, Alex and Benjamin have helped a lot but thats not gonna change my 1 star. Update 3/2/2026 - again the unit above is leaking and unfortunately Story “can’t” do anything because they said they fixed it! If they fixed it then why is it still leaking into my apartment? This will continue to happen and i’ll keep making this updated review post. Come back in a week or two for another Update 2/28/2026 - if you’re reading this and youre thinking about moving into apartment 208, dont do it. The sink has backflowed multiple times and actually caused the previous tenant to move out, I live below and its once

The maintenance team, specifically Alex, is so attentive to your problems and concerns. Alex fixed not one but THREE of my issues all in a couple of hours! He was so friendly and thorough in his explanation of each issue. He also gave me some great tips to continue maintaining my dishwasher. Very happy!

A great place to live in Capital hill. We have a huge balcony, a great view, a functional fireplace, neighbors are mostly friendly, staff cares and addresses issues quickly. Red Peak cares about their tenants. They are local but large and well staffed enough to effectively manage property. Best part is management office is open to walk ins and always helpful. Property is kept clean. Pets and commercial vehicles welcome also.

10/10 maintenance crew! Benjamin and his trainee were super helpful when my bathtub started having issues. They came out and resolved the issue within 3 hours!

Updating what was previously a good review. Living with AC only occasionally this summer has been so brutal - I can’t wait to leave this place. Be warned - this building “has AC”, it’s just not cold and only works sometimes. Can’t tell if it’s always been like this. It’s my first year here and there wont be a second.
