Stonegate Apartments

My wife and I lived here for a few years. the maintenance guys were very creepy and shady. We found black mold caked on the inside of the walls in the bathroom when part of the wall caved in. Roaches were starting to cover the kitchen floors at night, water leaked around all of the windows, the air conditioner unit was blowing black mold moist air when the AC was on, it was a complete nightmare. Maintenance never came to fix anything until after about a month of asking. Overall, I would say to avoid this condemned roach nest. I don't see how it is still operating as an apartment complex. If you do end up living here, be sure to check the inside of the air conditioner space in the wall, that's where we found black mold.

I’ve been living here at Stonegate for over 20 years. Every time I call to report something that needs to get fixed does. My kitchen floor along with the wash room and bathroom were recently replaced. They look great. Good job. I recommend living here!

I am eagerly counting down the days until I move out on June 30th. The rats living in the walls have destroyed all the insulation, allowing noise to travel freely—neighbors' music, TV, and footsteps at all hours. I have attached a picture of one of the rats I caught and included a video link below. The constant noise has deprived me of a good night's sleep since moving in. Adequate sleep is essential for health, along with diet and exercise, and I have lost significant sleep living here, even with earplugs and a white noise machine. Residents frequently speed through the parking lots, blasting loud rap and Tejano music. Some even pull out large speakers and play music directly from their front doors. If you are reading this, do not make the same mistake I did by choosing a cheaper apart

RUN from this place. It has been nothing but problems since I moved in here. When I first moved in, I noticed a very musty smell. I found that my entire AC unit was riddled with mold and debris and they were dragging their feet about replacing it. My kid got so sick and had so many ear infections he had to have surgery a few months after we moved in. I put in SIX service requests about a sink that was FLOODING my kitchen daily. 4 months later they came to fix it ONLY because my kid slipped and fell on the puddle of water. Not to mention the multiple rats I’ve seen roaming the property. There are also several roaches that crawl in and out under the baseboards on the walls. I’ve tried multiple times to get someone out here to exterminate but there’s nothing being done. It’s so disgusting to

Recently just moved into our apartment here and have had nothing but issue after issue. Was told we had to wait to move in because they were cleaning the apartment but when we moved in it was filthy. My boyfriend and I both caught respiratory infections shortly after moving in because of how dirty it was and on top of that they had been running the ac with no filter in the system before we moved in. Our garbage disposal doesn't work which causes an issue with our drainage for our sink and our dishwasher that can't drain and has had old water sitting in it since the day we moved in. Our stove top is missing important pieces which doesn't allow us to use it.
