Honest review: The only thing I can really say is the front office and the repairmen are the only things truly good about this complex. Hence the two stars, would be one without them. So I Lived in two different apartments on the property over an almost 5 year period and each place was not really worth the price. To try to summarize, the apartments are out dated, appliances like the water heater in both apartment were over 15 years old, (I’m a maintenance worker in MCPS and verified the serial number for both) mold was found in the property, (tested by my equipment) vents were not cleaned and caked with dust everywhere, bathtub was not leveled, the only bathroom toilet had cracked water tank with cawk repair that was no replaced before move in, had issues with above apartment leaking into

please do not move here worst place to be in the DMV apt is old and you will share your apartment with cockroach and mice. On top of that is not safe my car was open and my wallet and phone disappeared. Stuff very rude and nasty. WORST place in DMV

Lived here for 5 years, stayed because of the reasonable rent and inconvenience of moving, but wish I made the decision to leave much sooner. The most major issue was the water that rose up between the floorboards during some rainstorms, damaging some furniture and surely causing mold. A few times I tried to have maintenance come look at the issue but it was essentially met with a shrug because by time they actually came out to see it, the water had dried up. Also had major issues with leaks in the ceiling which took multiple requests to resolve. The insulation in general seemed poor, especially at the front door where you could see light leaking through around and under the door. Humidity was always 75+ in the summer and I had to get my own dehumidifier to have the place be livable. In th

We’ve noticed is a rise in crime in the area around the Stonecreek apartments in the last two years that has been pretty troubling. A few incidents to name: My partner’s motorcycle was stolen from the Stonecreek parking lot, I witnessed a car break in by a group of four teens in the Stonecreek parking lot while on a walk with my dog and had to run and hide at the Acclaim apartments across the street while the teens searched for me (yes I called the police). I’ve seen him twice (yes I called the police). You also can’t reach the local police via 911, you have the call the non-emergency line. I learned this when I was hiding from the teenagers when I called the non-emergency line to ask where the police were and I was told that there was no such record of my emergency call. You’ll love it here. I’ve been here for 2plus years so I’ve gotten pretty acquainted with the team taking care of us. Chris at the front desk is always pleasant to speak to and jumps on any issues I have. Stephanie is the best property manager everrrr. Love her. The real star though is the maintenance team. Angel is the best. They hired a new maintenance guy who my kids love talking to. Definitely a great community for family and super responsive.
