Still Waters Mtn Retreat

Excellent. Cabins are more like small homes. Very clean, comfy, and just what was needed for our quick anniversary get away to focus on God and each other. Quiet and scenic with a focus on God and Christ. But not rustic.

Very clean well appointed cabins with kitchenette and refrigerator. Hardwood floors and rugs. Smell clean, plenty of beds. The trails to the Fiery Gizzard are nice smooth walking plus the large pond nearby under the trees is peaceful. God is in these woods! Love the owners. Quiet retreat.

The Bell family that owns and operates this place are so nice. Their two fully furnished cabins are within sight of their private pond stocked with some big large mouth bass. They have well maintained hiking trails that take you back to their private overlook of the Firey Gizzard gorge. I have used this site for multiple leadership retreats for my FFA students as well the the Alpha Gamma Rho chapter that I advise. The chapel they have is perfect for group meetings.

A great off the beaten path gem. Clean, well-appointed cabins in a super-quiet woodland setting with plenty of outdoorsy stuff to do nearby. Plus the on-site hosts are terrific folks - we'll be back!

Excellent place to retreat from the hustle and bustle. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, it doesn't get much quieter.
