Still Water Log Homes

AVOID this contractor. I hired Stillwater to install two Andersen doors and repair some damaged logs. The doors were installed incorrectly — verified by a certified Andersen installer. They are not square or plumb, which prevents me from installing screen doors on these units. Stillwater has refused to correct their poor-quality installation or stand behind their work. Their justification was that because their estimate didn’t explicitly mention screen doors, they are not responsible for fixing the installation issues. This reasoning avoids accountability for substandard workmanship. If you decide to work with Stillwater (which I strongly advise against), make sure you get an extremely detailed written estimate, as they tend to rely on technicalities to avoid responsibility. From start to finish, we had a fantastic experience having our large home stained by Still Water. Excellent communication, honest and accurate price estimates, prompt and dependable arrival/departure times, and terrific final results. Jason, Mitch, and everyone on the crew was super friendly and kind, as well as extremely respectful towards our family and our property. Super pleased to support such a high quality, local business. Will continue to work with them for maintenance and cleaning down the road. Overall, cannot say enough good things about them. Their prices are not bargain basement, but you absolutely get what you pay for, and I would go with them again any day of the week.

We were very impressed with Al and Jason both at Still Water Log Homes. We were in the process of putting in an offer on a log home and had some concerns. They were able to fit us in right away to do an inspection and get us a report back. Jason was very thorough and took the time to explain things to us. Highly recommend them.

Al & his team provided excellent service. The work was excellent & exactly as we were quoted. We had a lot of repair that was needed on the main face of the house. It looks good as new! The guys were very nice & great with our dog! We will certainly call again if we are ever in need. Thank you!!
