When you have a lot of parties involved, you do need a great closing team. Stewart Title at Cherry Creek was the one. They were professional, answered my questions promptly and delivered all the documents needed. The only thing that I wish I knew before coming to the closing, is that they do have a parking garage (complimentary) that is next to the building, but the parking spaces are limited for Visitors, so make sure you have enough time to find parking. There is also some street parking. I worked with Sherry, and she was very communicative from start to end, and did everything to get the closing documents done in time. Had a great closing there!

Sadly this is the title company I have to work with. Closed in June and received overage checks from closing a few days ago… a whole 7 months later. Someone really dropped the ball, not only that instead of sending the checks to the company they addressed the checks to, they sent them to me and told me to figure it out… Filed a complaint with CFBP & Colorado department of regulatory agencies. Dont work with Ashlee Ruedi either avoid her at all costs to save you headache and pain. Avoid this company at all costs if possible, I unfortunately didn’t have a choice in the matter.

Communication leaves much to be desired, especially on a purchase timeline. Failed to submit payoff check - had to follow up multiple times. Failed to send Title package back to lender. The gentleman who oversaw our signing was friendly is the only positive feedback we have.

We've only had a few Closings through this firm and this is the second one that they appear to have lost all of our documents. I called and have still not received a thing from Jennifer Rutt at the Denver Office. I was going to let it pass but saw other companies having the same problem with Stewart Title and see it's more than a one off issue and wanted to throw in my name as also having trouble. Maybe a DORA complaint is in order

Gina at the Colorado branch exploited our family differences while we were morning our mother's recent death and refused to issue 4 equal checks for cash due our family. Gina laughed at us and instead choose to send our inheritance to the state of Colorado to remain in limbo for years.
