Stewart Title Company - Legacy

I recently closed a transaction with Stewart Title – Legacy, and overall, the experience was great. The closing went smoothly, and the team was very professional throughout the entire process. I’m thrilled for my clients as they move into their brand-new home! The only downside was that we were informed they wouldn’t provide a digital copy of the title documents, which was a first for me. Other than that, the process was seamless.

This is by far the worst title company. They were selected to be used on a purchase transaction, had the file for 2 months and could not close. Donna Vincik lied about contacting the seller and the broker and she is rude. If you want your loan to close do your self a favor and not use this title company.

I am a real estate agent with years of experience. I represented the buyer. I have never made a review on a title company but this place requires to be mentioned. Their receptionist is very rude and unprofessional. She lacks basic communication skills and customer service. Very unfriendly and not approachable. I will definitely let my colleagues know not to use this particular title company. Our closer was friendly and excellent although she was 20 minutes late to our scheduled closing time. It was not a good experience overall.

Very unfriendly service. Lady came to call us back and took us to this dingy office. Didn't say hello or introduce herself. She seemed irritated and was not pleasant. We asked questions on the paperwork and she responded with "I don't know" she seemed annoyed we asked her to take a photo after we finished. She made comments about having to redo a whole lot if paperwork since I messed up the date a few times and she said it was unacceptable. She didn't say bye or congrats or anything and shooed us hurriedly out of the place. Everyone else was sitting in nice conference rooms and we were squashed into a small room. Kind of a damper on our big day.

Every client of a title company expects and deserves a successful mortgage closing; the standard of a "good job". Yet, as each mortgage is unique; the title company and servicing personnel must manage the project with persistence, expertise, and teamwork to achieve the desired result. That being said Stewart Title and in particular Mary Dixon, Escrow Officer has set a “Perfect 10” standard (or “5 Stars for Google”) for this important business process. Mary and Stewart carefully led us through all the particulars with full transparency and a friendly business style. Needless to say the result exceeded our original expectations of a “good job”.
