I would not recommend using Stewart Title Company, there is a lack of communication from the escrow/loan officers was non-existent to the buyer and the real estate agent. I was originally supposed to close on the 11th of May - that is now being extended to the 21st of May. A nine day business day difference since the individual handling my loan was out of office and no one would communicate to me throughout the process or thought about providing the closing documents to another escrow officer. The title company to make up for that mistake indicated that it was waiting for the lien from sellers bank to close. Save yourself time and money, do not use or give business towards Stewart Title Company.
